Peppermint is a versital essential oil. It promotes helathy digestion, relieves headache and migrain symptoms, repels bugs, promotes healthy respritory function and increased energy and concentration ( a great study aid).
I use this essential oil in my pratice by:
1) Applying it (diluted in a carrier oil) directly on the stomach, or reflex points for the stomach/GI tract, to promote balanced digestion.
2) Apply it neat or diluted to the temples to relieve headache and migrain discomfort.
3) Prompt clients to inhale it neat from the palms or add to the diffuser to promote heightened concentration & alterness.
